The idea of our booze baron poker drinking game is to get rid of all the cards in your hand before your opponents can. This game supports anywhere from 3-8 players.
What You’ll Need
A set of 2 dice and a deck of cards. Then some drinks for each player.
Setting It Up
To set up this game first every 2, 7, and face card must be removed from the deck. The remaining cards ( there should be 38 cards remaining, including the 2 jokers.). Shuffle these cards and deal them out as evenly as possible to each player.
Booze Baron Poker Drinking Game Rules
The object of the game is to get rid of all the cards in your hand.
On a players turn they roll both dice. Then they can get rid of any cards matching the number that they rolled. For instance if they roll a 10( 4 and a 6) then they can get rid of all the 10 cards in their hand. All other players can get rid of only 1 card that matches the number rolled. So they could each get rid of a single 10.
Whenever a player takes their turn and rolls, and they do not discard any cards they must take a drink.
Whenever a player rolls doubles on top of the regular discarding phase they can also give out drinks equal to what number they rolled doubles of. For instance if someone rolls Double 3s they can give out 3 sips divided as they choose.
Play order of this game goes clockwise.
When someone is out of cards they win the game. Everyone else must take a drink for each of the remaining cards in their hand.
Aces: If you are dealt an ace, immediately discard it and take a drink.
Joker: If you are dealt a joker discard it along with any other card in your hand that you want to get rid of. This is a good way to get rid of those pesky 3s.
