Mexican Standoff Drinking Game

Mexican Standoff Drinking Game - the Chuggernauts . com

Our Mexican Standoff drinking game is a great and simple drinking game for those who want something a little more hilarious and interactive than traditional dice rolling or card flipping drinking games. This game works best with larger groups of people of 5 or more.

The goal of this game is to try and guess who will point their guns at you, and point yours right back to ensure safety. This game plays off the popular cinema trope the “mexican standoff” where multiple people are pointing guns at each other causing nobody to want to shoot.

What You’ll Need

For this game all you need is some drinks. But if you want to make things a little more interesting grab two water guns or nerf guns for every player playing. Then everyone just needs to be sitting or standing in a circle making sure they can see every other player.

How To Play the Mexican Standoff Drinking Game

This game takes place in multiple rounds until there is only 1 or 2 players remaining who are crowned the victors.

Each round players count down from 3 and then say “Draw!”. Once someone says draw each player must point their guns (or finger guns) at other players. They can choose to point both at one player or point each at separate players.

If you’re pointing a gun at someone who is pointing a gun right back at you, they cancel each other out and nothing happens.

However, if there’s a gun pointing at you and you are not pointing one back you take a hit. 3 hits are you are out of the game. Whenever someone is eliminated they must down half a glass.

Rounds continue until there is only 1 or 2 people remaining. If there’s only 1 then that person wins. If there is 2 than the person with the most hits left wins. If they are tied than it’s a tie and both players win and neither has to drink that half glass.
