The rules in this game are divided into 6 categories, one for each member of the group. Then players each pick a character or two to determine which rules they’ll be following. Players must also finish their drinks whenever there is a break up.

At the start of each episode each player must pick at least 1 character to drink to. They can pick more than one if they choose to as well.
Chandler:
Drink every time:
- Someone says his name
- He Cracks a joke
- He mentions his love life
- He sits down in a weird way
Joey:
Drink every time:
- Someone says his name
- He says something stupid
- He hits on someone
- He has an audition
Phoebe:
Drink every time:
- Someone says her name
- She sings a song
- She says something strange
- She brings up her deceased mother or Ursela
Ross:
Drink every time:
- Someone says his name
- Anyone Mentions his job
- He mentions rachel
- He yells
Rachel:
Drink every time:
- Someone says her name
- Rachel mentions Ross
- Gunther hints at his love to Rachel
- Takes an order or brings someone their order
Monica:
Drink every time:
- Someone says her name
- Anyone mentions that she used to be fat
- Her cleanliness is mentioned
- She goes on a date
All players must finish their drink when:
- Someone breaks up with someone else
The Friends Drinking Game is a great way to enjoy this classic sitcom. It’s a decent amount of drinking depending which character you chose but we tried to make sure we picked out tropes that are very common with each character. If anyone is feeling like being a hero they can also attempt to do all 6 cast members at once although we don’t recommend it because it can be quite a bit of drinking.
