Lonely Roller

This drinking game is one of the easiest to play out there. It’s also commonly played with only one player, but if you’re one of those weird people who have friends who enjoy your company, it can easily be played with as many players as you wish.

What You’ll Need

Before you start this game you’ll need a sheet of paper and a pencil. On the paper make a separate column for each possible die roll. 1,2,3,4,5 and 6. Then players should roll and the highest roll gets to go first. Then a shot of any hard alcohol of your choice should be placed in the center of the table.

Lonely Roller Drinking Game Rules

Players take turns rolling the die and marking on the paper which number has been rolled.  They must drink for the total number of times that number has been rolled.

The game ends when each number has been rolled at least 3 times. So this could be over quickly or it can take a frustratingly long time.

Whoever rolls the final number of the game must take the shot of hard alcohol placed in the center of the table.

Optional Variant

Alternatively this game can be played with a 12 sided die. In this version each number only needs to be rolled one time each for the game to finish.

This drinking game takes a little bit of set up but is extremely easy to follow and play once it gets rolling. The Lonely Roller game is often played single player as a way to quickly drink a few beers before an outing but it can also be multiplayer if players want to take turns in a clockwise fashion. As always please remember to drink responsibly and pace yourself. Take a break and pass the die to another player if necessary.
