The CornHole Drinking Game

The Corn Hole drinking game is about as easy as it sounds. It’s a great way to liven up a camping trip and get some drinking done at the same time with a team mate. For those of us who would rather be outside absorbing the nice weather than inside flipping cards this is the perfect solution.

What You’ll Need

A Cornhole Set complete with beanbags and some drinks. And enough open space to play this game.

Cornhole Rules

First place the two cornhole boards about 25-30 feet away from each other. Generally this is played in teams of two, with one team mate behind each board. Meaning you should be standing next to an opponent.

The goal of the game is to get 21 points before the opposing team.

The two opposing players on the side with the bags take their turns. They alternate taking shots until all the bags are used. For each bag on the board it’s 1 point, for each in the hole it’s 3 points. At the end of each round the team that scored more points scores the difference between their score and the opposing teams.

Drinking Rules

Whenever a team lands a bag on the board, the opposing team drinks once.

If it lands in the hole the opposing team drinks 3 times.

If the opposing team scores more than 5 points in a single round the other team must pound back the rest of their drinks.

Any line foul results in a drink. This is when someone steps past the throwing line.

The Cornhole drinking game is a classic for tailgates or camping trips. As always please try to remember that it’s only a game and to drink responsibly. Over consumption of alcohol can be a very serious risk.
